Science & Cooking Chemistry (1 Semester Course) Core Course – SCS63 – 1.0 Credits – Physical Science | Pre-requisite: Living Environment, 11th & 12th Grade
The culinary world provides a rich set of examples for engaging students’ essential concepts in the physics sciences, as demonstrated by the Science and Cooking course. Each week Students are engaged in scientific inquiry through the art of cooking with edible experiments in lab, culminating in independent research projects by teams of students at the end of the semester. Science & Cooking has a laboratory component.
